I remember some people having issues in the past with fitment with the front eddy shocks..

Does anyone know if this was fixed? Is anyone running IAS shocks on the front of there 73-4 B-Body with no issues?

Thanks!

The only shocks that fit on the front of a 73-74 are KYB gr2's or Monroe matics. Both light weight twin tubes. Firm feel website says they have Bilsteins for the front. I put KYB gas adjusts on the front of mine. But I modified the LCA to use 1972 Monty Carlo shocks (standard chevy front shocks)

Is not a FIX problem, is a LIST problem from Edelbrock. They listed all them like valid to 66/74 being only true on rear. A friend of mine locally bought without ASK ME firts and he never got installed, then asked me why... the answer was, BECAUSE YOU NEVER ASK FIRST LOL. He had to fit blue Monroematics bough locally.

they simply have to build the front 73/74s... if they care for.

I would like to try Eddys on the front of mine. They would be a shock that fits a chevy of course ,so they are avialable. The Eddys run rod down to reduce unsprung weight. The body has the threaded rod attachment and the lower end has an eyelet with a dogbone in it. The 73 and newer B bodys have a sleave around the upper mounting hole. I am not sure if the body of the Eddy shock would fit. Would be close. I might try it next winter, the KYB Gas Adjusts (mono tube) are a little harsh on rough pavement and I have heard several good comments on the Eddy shocks.
