Daytona Headlight Springs Keepers

I have a daytona that has trouble keeping the headlight up or fully up. I believe I just put another twist on the spring , but does anybody know where to get the folded metal keepr that keeps spring on shaft?  please help

When the Safety spring is installed, you only get one complete turn, to locate it in it;s original location, the springs intention is only a safety standpoint, to "pop" the lights should the vacumm system fail at some point, the lites are released by breaking the bulkhead connection at the radiator apron where the lines are running over the top rad brace, a nice idea from the factory, too bad it didn't pan out too well,... the springs are not intended to aid in lifting the lights in normal operation, if your lights are getting "lazy" at idle or just regular driving, you most likely have a vacumm leak somewhere in the system, it can range from rotten/broken lines, to faulty switch, headlite canisters, the resverve can under the battery,....basically endless search


PS the "V" shaped "keeper" is found on any hidden headlite Dodge/Chrysler/Plymouth model,...it's not necessary, it's intention is the keep the spring on the shaft should it break and fail, the V clip dosen't even touch the spring, just another "safety" clip
