borla xr1 muffler

anyone using borla xr1? i am putting a 3 inch with x pipe and the shop recomends these.
are they too loud for the street ?

My personal favorite is the Dynomax Ultraflow....but i've heard good things about the Borla's as well.

i do not want to start getting tickets and creating problems with my neighbors.

George, the Borla's are about the same as the Ultraflows but the pitch is slightly different.

Honestly, any exhaust with 3in tailpipes is gonna be healthy....maybe consider running a 2.5in tailpipe with 3in headpipes & 3in mufflers.
