1994 Chevy Pickup won't stay running

I have a 94 Chevy Silverado pickup with a 350 throttle body. I drove it yesterday after it's been sitting a couple months. When I start it up and step on the gas it cuts out on me. It sounds flooded when I try to start it. I rev the gas, put it in Drive, when I step on the gas again it stalls. It did this everytime I came to a stop. After it warmed up it seemed to run better. I slowly eased on the gas pedal it stayed running enough to get me back home. Any suggestions as to what I could look for?
Thanks!

I have seen all this. But until today, I have never seen such a pain in the ars car like this 68 Charger!

You could have water in the gas now. Gas starts separating after 30 days now with the new gas were using. That's why you have to use a gas stabilizer now when your going to let something sit for a while.

IF it idles good and has a problem just OFF idle, unhook the hose to the EGR valve and try it.  I have had lots of those with a weak spring in the valve allowing it to go full open at very little vacuum (right off idle).

I filled the tank when I took it out, cause it was on empty. The Check engine light is not on. I started it up today again and it stalled again in the driveway. When I started it up again I floored the gas for a couple minutes full pedal to the floor and the engine reved, died down, reved and died down constantly until I left off the gas pedal. I left it run for about 10 minutes and when I took it for a spin, it didn't stall anymore. I was not on the pedal hard. I don't know what's going on.
Would an EGR problem cause the engine to rev & die down like that when have the pedal to the floor? I'll try & unhook it tomorrow and see what happens. If it fixes the problem then what? Is it a bad EGR Valve?
Thanks for the help!

That doesn't sound like EGR.  Could the fuel pump be really weak?

Check the idle air solenoid, pull of the air cleaner and look down the throttle body, you should see it move when you rev the engine.
