A little pricey since you can buy a used one as nice and repaint it also.  WTH?
I wouldn't want my grille in the total auto grille color anyway.  Nothing more than argent silver which is to light.  :Twocents:

Or 775.00 for a light bucket. I sold mine for 165.00 and I was thrilled

Dang, 4,500 for a grille.  You can get a whole car with a nice grille for that and lots of extra parts.

Whats an acceptable price range for grills, bad to good ?

-grey color not available?-

All I did was take a nos piece to my favorite paint supplier and had him use the color reader on it.About 10 mins later I was on my way home with a spray bomb loaded with the original shade.

Prices all over the place.  A NOS grille in a sealed box wouldn't bring that today. Plus you have two other pieces that need to match it.  A center grille can go between 5.00 and 2,995.00 according to that part listed. It ain't 2005 no more.  I don't think it would of sold for that back then, not repainted anyway.

Seriously, you could sell many can's of that color.  We have long threads about the proper color.  For someone to match a NOS piece and have it put in spray bombs would sell like hot cakes on a cold morning on eBay, and here.  I'd buy a can.  I would think 50.00 for a spray bomb of the correct color would sell all day long.  What did the spray cost?

I don't know anyone who buys from them, in fact I can't believe they're still in business. :shruggy:

I once bought was a can of "air cleaner orange" at Carlisle several years ago. Not only was it the wrong color, it squirted like a 75 year old man pissing paint through his blocked prostate. :eek2:

I asked for a refund and they basically told me to f#ck off.....so Dave Ferro, here's your sign! :badidea:

People might not pay it.  Those days are long gone.  The hobby crazy money days are gone, times are hard, and repo's are everywhere.  I just bought a choke for my Carter.  NOS ones were listed as high as 225.00+  I paid 45.00 for a perfect looking repro.

( BTW a friend of mine down here NEEDS a 68 Sport Satellite grille to rebuild a 4 speed car, if someone knows someone around ( ssshhh if I say is for an sport satellite will be maybe cheaper than telling is for a GTX :P )
Prices are high but on the 68 GTX grille at least your getting more parts for the money and it's all raw metal.  The Charger grille is repainted and a plastic center piece that needs to match two ends.  You can use any shape center piece if your gonna paint it.
