Need an idler pulley

I have a 68 Charger and I'm putting in a 440 from a 77 New Yorker. The New Yorker had AC, but I'm removing it. I need an idler pulley to work the water pump.
I have a completed 73 Charger that I took the AC out of and have a pic of the idler pulley I used for that engine. Are the 400 and 440 blocks similar? Behind the idler pulley there's a really long spacer. That's what I am looking for. Will the idler pulley fit?
I have seen evil! I have seen horror!
I have seen the unholy maggots which feast in the dark recesses of the human soul!
I have seen all this. But until today, I have never seen such a pain in the ars car like this 68 Charger!

I guess I am missing something as I don't have an idler pulley on mine or are talking about the pulley on the water pump itself?

73 and laters have a very diff pulleys and belt setup to water pump and steering pump, same as water pump outlet ( and of course, matching radiator )

when having the 73 and lates setup ( beside the matching rad ) the steering pump becomes on water pump iddler too sharing same belt.

Belt chart runs like his on earliers AC cars

crank-ac-alt
crank-water pump-idler
crank-steering pump

needs to take in mind that when NO A/C, the alt makes the iddler to the water pump belt, so no iddler pulley on those

More notes

on earlier the steering pump sits higher on engine, with a rear bracket with a nut to tight up the complete steering pump assembly. On laters THE BLOCKS have the threated hole provision to the steering pump bracketing assembly

If you want to make the earliers assembly non AC car, will need the correct steering pump brackets, the correct water pump pulley to match correctly between alt and crank, AND the correct water pump housing with driver side lower outlet, then the correct radiator. maybe also the correct crank pulley, although maybe not mandatory because could match somehow with rest of pulleys just having extra grooves not being used

If you want the laters assembly ( non A/C once more )starting whith what you have will need just the water pump pulley to match with alt propperly and the matching radiator. Once again, a correct crank pulley although same as before, will work just having non used grooves
