Yeah, its about that simple.

What I meant was a "Galen" type verification........if there is such a thing. :shruggy:

Well you could go that route, but about all he does is break down the fender tag & give a rundown on how many are equipped that way that he knows of. Too get him to look at the car would cost some coin I would guess.
I would do like said & take a picture of VIN on block & be done with it. Is this for personal info or thinking of selling?

I was just curious about it for another part of the car's history.

can't you get something like a Marti Report? or whever it's called.

Ghoste

No such thing as a Marti report for Mopars a that information just doen't exist.  You can get a breakdown of the original options and shipping destination on the 67 and back models but no breakdown of many were equipped with each option and color.  There is Galen's report but it's exactly as was posted above.  If you just want to verify the numbers to establish the cars history what does it matter whether you verify it yourself or pay big bucks to a "guru" to do it for you?

Can someone post pics of the location of the VIN stamp on a bigblock and the tranny...think that would be of value here.  I never bothered to get any pics when I had a chance.  :popcrn:

Sorta

All I have is what has been read as I am not interested in matching numbers or how many other Chargers were built the same as mine.

He knows his stuff & all it just is not so important to me too pay for that knowledge. Plus my fender tag is from the 318 cars front clip so the options mean squat. I have figured out a few things my car had.

T5 paint
Had the stripe
Rocker Mouldings
Power drum brakes
Power steering
Bucket seats like most of them
