My driveshaft takes the small 7260 joints, but at the yoke I will be using a 7260 to 7290 conversion joint (My yoke takes the big 7290).  Do you guys use any particular joint?  My car is estimated 500hp and 525tq.  It has a 2500 stall converter, TF2 shift kit with 3.23 gears and a locker.   I'm running 28" x 10" street tires.  I like to run it hard so I was wandering which joints are holding up well without breaking?      Thanks, Clark.

I am in the assembly process during restoration and want to upgrade.  My car is going to have drastically more power than it did so I wanted to get a fairly strong joint.  :2thumbs:

I haven't found a Spicer that converts the 7260 to the 7290 style.  Anyone had any experience with Moog "super u-joints"?  I will post a link to them below, along with the link to the Spicer I plan to use on the other end.

If anyone sees a problem with these then please let me know.   Thanks for the help!    :2thumbs:

Look at the difference in the diameters of the support
shafts near the bearings, easy choice in my opinion, Moog.

The pictures do not show the actual part number that I am looking at.  Plus the Moog has a grease fitting, which means the area you are speaking of is hollow on the Moog.  Just to be clear, I was considering ordering both of these, Spicer for the front and Moog for the rear (only because I can't find a Spicer for the rear).

Thanks Ron!
It shows a grease fitting in the picture, but does it saying "solid body" mean that it actually doesn't have grease passages?

You would think that it is one, or the other.  Probably need to call.
