Not only do I think bringing back the Charger name is dumb, but I believe they made it without any style. If you look at the 2006 Chrysler 300, the side and back almost looks exactly the same! The front looks like a magnum, just it has a smaller grill and different lights. LAME!

Now, if they came out with the same design as we saw in the past years (the concept) with a differnt grill, then I would gladly call that the 6th gen. charger.

God damnit, will it ever end? ::)
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.  Especially if they have access to the internet.

Hell, why don't we start burning books too while were at it.

Wonderful way to run a forum.

If it bothers you guys so much don't read um.

What annoys me more is having to move all these threads that get posted in the wrong section...

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

No, its just that I've posted the Galant/Charger comparison so many times that I had to think of something new.

Wow, it doesn't look a "lot" like it, it looks identical!  That's the weird thing, can't these companies sue each other for them all producing the same car with slight variations?

They should have at least put a tan interior in it.

:iagree:

Calm down. Does someone have a gun to your head making you read this?

Anyway, I've been thinking of starting the same thread but was afraid of getting flamed, like what's happening now.

So yes, the '06 is one among many cookie-cutter designs this year. And not just the back end either. Several companies have gone with the Mr. Potato Head "angry eyes" look for '05 and '06:

Laugh all you want, cudahob, but that '06 monstrosity looks more like a Cuda than it does a Charger.   :icon_smile_shock:

actually, they sold all their shares about a couple months ago. Chrysler owns 10%-25% of Hyundai now.
when racing deals fall apart.....you go home, like me.

If it keeps getting stirred, it keeps getting stirred. It is what it is.

Rear window/C-pillar/3/4 section looks like an 80's 911 that someone stuck a straw in, and blew.
A beemer that held it's nose when it sneezed.
The hip is directly from a '67 Mustang fastback.
Back end, trunk lines, tail lights, stance, off a hundred other cars out there. Galant, Altima, many past Chrysler's.
Front, hood lines, directly face-on, is a Dakota to me.

For this hip in a true fastback with 2 doors, more of a Chrysler front, check out the Bentley Continental. Though still not Charger styling to me, it's an improved flavour of the '06.

Just my 2 cents :)

So what if we finally did get a 2 door Charger, but it had Hyundai badges on it?
