It looks like you guys had a lot of fun last year! I will make sure to make it to your meet area since it's close to my house but as for going to the event I have a wedding that day :brickwall:.

Good luck getting a park at vista point with all the Asian tourists and their tiny cars that they can't park in a spot big enough for a semi trailer.

GunMetal

Last year we had no problem with parking, although we were scattered out a bit. We had some beautiful shots of the bridge, bay and cars. A bunch of tourists were there and they seemed to genuinely enjoy seeing the cars and the owners. The gal with the "Flat Stan" sure got a kick out of it as we did as well. As can be expected though, there were a bunch of people with large cameras around their necks, but no parking issues. We'll definitely be there again this year!  Hope to see a bunch of you as well.

That's the one. I thought it was a good idea, she was a school teacher on vacation doing the "Garden Gnome" thing for her class right?

I called the Marin French Cheese Co., (the official name evidently ),and spoke to Elizabeth. I let her know that we would be storming the place on the 23rd and to fully stock the deli cases and bread racks.
They have tours available @ 10, 11, noon, and 3, however they won't be in production. They make the cheese mon-thurs. Still, I'm interested in a tour.
This is a very fun trip and we meet a bunch of other car enthusiast on the road and at the Cheese Co. :2thumbs:

May be a little late to ask but what are the lunch options at the cheese factory?

Cheese and fruit or is thier a deli type sandwitch menu of some kind.
I'm a simple food person and not into chick food.

GunMetal

They have a small Deli case that is obviously loaded with cheeses, but they do have another case with various meats etc. I believe they have an assortment of chips, drinks, and breads.  :2thumbs:
I've been following the rebuild thread Steve, look forward to seeing you guys and the car tomorrow.

It was a great trip and a nice day for a road trip.

Awesome seeing Dave, Steve, Marco and Stu again as well as meeting John & Becky with thier Olds and Tom with his lovely wife in thier 69 Charger.

The Trip was almost 260 miles for us and the Wife and I did not continue onto Point Reyes with the group after lunch at the CHeese Factory.

Here are my pictures from the day and a 12 Minute Video.

Thank you Steve for the pix and vid! Kudos to Stu for making this happen! We were blessed with decent weather and the company of fellow gearheads and gearheadettes not to mention a bevy of fine cars.
It was our pleasure to meet you all and hope to attend another adventure with the gang soon. We sorta lost sight of everyone in Bolinas but we managed to escaped this bohemian enclave without being forceably tye dyed.........the car still smells a bit like patchouli oil. Missy Di was pooped for sure so we headed home. She feels somewhat self conscious around folks but you all treated like family......she was smiling the whole day! Meeting Brock Samson aka Dave, a fellow escapee from the forth estate, was like a trip back in time. Great time great people and...........cheese too !

FLY NAVY/Marine Corps or take the bus!

Brock Samson

It was a sweet 'lill cruise...  :icon_smile_big: Great to see everyone!  :yesnod:
