I'm looking for the correct heat stove my 72 SE with the HP manifolds.  The casting number is 3614400-2 with a date of 6-19-71

since the manifold is curved, I'm having a tough time finding the correct heat stove.  Also, the oil dip stick location seems to be in the way of the stove

does anyone have a picture of the correct stove and how it is mounted?

thanks a lot!

Damn... that engine looks like mine one LOL... manifolds also painted :D. Oh well mine is a 400.

oil dipstic is not in the way, don't worry about that. I don't have a pic of the heating shield itself but yes of an engine with it

hey, thanks guys for the leads on where to get the heat stove - $145!!!

do they help the engine that much on colder starts?  being in Wisconsin it may be worth it??

will get the iddle quicker since will warm quicker, but not necesarilly ON THE START moment. On start moment only will help you is te best air/fuel mixture, good spark and timing and good oil ;)

BTW, no complaints about that price for the shields, I have seen original used ones on ebay up to $250
