Ford made a 400 CID 'Modified Cleveland" from 1971-1981.  Used Cleveland 2 Barrel heads, but a taller deck height, longer stroke and bigger main bearing than a 351 Cleveland.  Ford destroked it to make the 351 M (Modified).  Advance the cam 4 degrees, buy an aftermarket aluminum 4 barrel manifold and carb, and the 351 M - 400 would really wake up.  The motors just screamed for the Aussie 2 barrel closed chamber heads, however.

Hello,

the cars were at the Kurfürstendamm in Berlin? There was a old car cruise from Hamburg to Berlin and there were some roads closed for the cruise in Berlin. Anyway there was a US-Car meeting at the Olympiastadion this weekend. It's close to where I live.

Hello,

With only a with my time here coming to an end (I leave in almost a month) I am trying to visit more castles for you guys. This is the Heidelberg Castle, it was a fairly impressive place, but with damage from the 30 years war as well as France and a fire from a lightning struck, it has fallen into ruins. It was one of the coolest castles I have seen so far.  Here are pics, enjoy!

Castle From Outside

The church was the only thing not destroyed in the fire (Because it was made of stone while all other buildings were internally made from wood), so the architecture is the same as from the 1300s.

Very cool locking chest

Inside one of the rebuilt buildings

Original 1300s staircase (Notice the initials of the sculptors who made the staircase on the center handrail)

I actually got lost on the way there...

... and ended up at a cross roads

On the way back, my train when light speed!

I have a few more pics that I have to sort through, but now I am off to a castle in Hechingen!

I just got back from the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and I must say, that was the most incredible race I have ever witnessed. The emotional roller coaster ride the race gives you is second to none. Watching a corvette lead throughout the entire night (I didn't sleep a wink during this race) just to crash in the 17th hour and give it away is truly heart breaking, and then to watch the other corvette come from a lap down and win its class was just breathtaking. And lets not forget Peugeot vs Audi, that was a fantastic battle. If you ever have the chance to see this race GO, do not hesitate, NASCAR simply can not compare to it.

Here are some pictures I took during the event.

My friend and I rented motorcycles in Northern Ireland and saw some of the more remote things Ireland has to offer. The end result is that I am now flat broke but have memories that will last a lifetime.

Now for the bikes, I rented a Kawasaki Ninja 250R, yeah its small and low powered, but it was nimble and was perfect for use on the Irish roads, were you rarely go above 40 mph and the road is as wide as a single US lane. My friend rented a Kawasaki Versys. It was quicker but the extra price of the rental plus the extra gas simply wasn't worth it in my opinion. Here are the pics of the bikes anyways.

This poor Ninja went places no Ninja should have to go, you should have seen the look on the rental guys face when we saw the mud caked on it!
