How about Ron Paul/Donald Trump 2012...?   :patriot:

That might be good if you left the Ron Paul out. =) Don't get me wrong, I like how he's all for the constitution and individual rights, but he's way too radical on everything else. Even he says he'll never win an election.
I agree, Ron Paul doesn't cut it. Actually, I'd like to see a Herman Cain/Donald Trump combo. I would vote for either one of them for Prez & would be perfectly happy to see the other as VP. They would be a double-whammy of no BS guys who love America.

At first, I chuckled at the idea of Trump as Prez, but the more I hear from him, the more I am warming up to the idea. He's gotta turn down the volume on the birther thing though & focus more on ways to fix our mess. The absolute best thing I like about him as a possible candidate, is that he can fun his campaign all by himself. That means he won't owe a single favor to anyone because of financial promises, if he becomes Prez. THAT would be cool!

Ponch, you don't vote for the hair, you vote for the person. The better looking guy got the winning vote last time & look what that got us.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

The more I hear him the more I want to hear. And as far as the birther thing goes, If he blows this wide open like I suspect he will, The democrats will have lost all credibility and the run to the whitehouse will be nothing more than a short jog for Trump or whoever the next leading contender is.

Forget about Trump, Obama, or anyone else, I think we should nominate Troy for president. He brought this site back from the dead, kept it alive & gets a tent every year for Carlisle.

Just think about that for a moment.

Then go back to thinking about other stuff.

i don't believe in the two party system either, democrat, republican, same idiots to me whose interests are only the corporate ones. i don't know how one party is better than the other when they're equally extremely flawed, with equally corrupt politicians. seriously, someone's gonna say obama's bad but the competition isn't? and vice-versa? this country is only going the way it's going because it's been sold out by the two parties in power to corporate interests. i don't see how trump would be any different, he's just the typical gung-ho, loose cannon at first that will later either be reigned in or he'll take it so far that he won't be taken seriously. i don't take him seriously now but who knows, a lot of people watch his show and would probably vote for him. we have terminator in california after all...

:hah: Newt Gingrich is the man.

Ah, yes, ol' Newt. The former leader of the party that stands for morality and family values who has been twice divorced and commited fornication. Yeah, he's "the man" all right.    :smilielol:

Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

1970Moparmann

The fact is he is successful.  Has he gambled and taken chances and sometimes not gone as well as it could - of course.   Not be make this political, but as of today, I think he has 22% of the vote if he makes the chance.  I think him potentially running is due to people finally realizing the country is in a financially crisis and they want "a business man" versus the usual.   Do you think our current CEO (yes this is what I said) of the U.S. has the background and knowledge to run the U.S.?   I think no matter the side of the party you swing, it's time for a politician with business savy to step up to the plate.

I am no where in a better situation I was in two years - you?

Just think, if only he would drop the family values and morality, then quit paying his taxes he could fit right into the current adminstration. The dems would love him!

I was listening to an interview with him many years ago when the Trump Casino (one of them) in AC was filing for Bankruptcy.  The interviewer was all over him about it and Trumps' answer over and over was that all of us neanderthals and peons don't understand bankruptcy, it's just a restructuring of debt.  wtf is that?  we all know restructuring is a way of saying FU, I'm not payin you what I owe you.

We already got a dude living on Pennsylvania ave who thinks it's ok to just give shit away, we don't need another...especially one with worse hair.  Call it political and blame for getting it locked, but that's the problem in this country, People are allowed to exist who won't work.  The rest of us are running out of money to pay them.

Maybe he'll convey to the Chinese and everyone else who now owns America that they no longer do. Poof! America's on top again.
Sure the dollar would tank, but then everyone would start buying our cheap crap and we could rebuild our manufacturing base.

Ummm . . . no.  I don't think we would really want our dollar to tank.

He's a king of self promotion  ::)

Didn't anybody else notice that his celebrity apprentice crap show can only attract D-list folks anymore??   So he comes out and says some stupid crap to draw attention to himself and
his built upon junk bond empire on faux news and voila... the ratings went up.

His empire is always ready to fall over,  teetering on the next baloon payment just like his hair poof in the wind.  No matter what happens he'll land on a soft pillow but that's not saying much for the people he owes.

So... whatever...  go right ahead and vote for him if you can...   he'll never run.

We need a president with facial hair. When's the last time we had a president with a decent moustache or beard?

Nothing wrong with a "decent moustache or beard", but lets hope the next one is at least a decent president.

And what is everybodys facination with Trumps hair? It's not a contest to see who is the prettiest.

It is arguable if he is a successful businessman, but even if he is that does not automatically mean he could be successful in politics. Politics is far more complex than business and the current events in the world don't ask for a leader such as Donald Trump. He is simply too American and whether you like it or not that is almost an offense in some very important regions in the world. In my opinion the western countries need to adapt to a world in which they are the providers of knowledge and no longer are the industrial powers. And with this stance they need to choose their leaders wisely, not discussing his policy, Obama is a good example. He does well in the international politics and that is mostly because he is much more moderate than some of your previous presidents. Too put it simply you have to show people that you give a **** whether or not you really do is beside the point. And before you reply: "I don't care about the rest of the world", sadly the U.S. is in a position that it can't afford that, you rely too much on other powers (and not the smallest, mind you).

Since you bring up "the better looking guy"...Trump is nothing but the other side of the same coin. Think about it...preaching to a segment of the voting population that feels disenfranchised with simplistic, unrealistic proclamations that reduce complex issues to catchy slogans and lowest common denominator "solutions" and abstract promises only to find out that that shit will only take you so far in the real world.

The king of Saudi Arabia said that he no longer trusts the Obama administration. One of the few allies that we have in the middle east and now they don't trust us. Well there is also Israel but obama threw them under the bus. He's not doing as well in international politics as the liberal media would let people believe.

I agree but therein lies the problem.. We've had panzy politicians starting with Bush #41 and Clinton giving everything away with the free trade agreements and coming all the way through the present admistration that wants to spend our way to prosperity. This is what put us in a position that we have to rely on others. We need to get ourselves back to the point that we don't. That is what made America great, being able to help others that needed it. Now we are so reliant on everybody elses money that we can't even take care of ourselves. This has to change. We can't keep sucking the hind tit, it's starting to go dry.
