Well, he's a Great Business Man our Prime minister in New Zealand (John Key) is a Millionaire.
Some don't like that fact but he came from nothing I respect that. I think Mr Trump could do it
And would be a no BS kinda Guy.

He's an interesting character for sure. He's certainly confident. I like that he says exactly what's on his mind - even the stuff that I think is crackers. His businesses have filed for bankruptcy three times and he's on his third marriage, so is he really any good with money and people, or just a reckless gambler who alienates people? Is he strong enough to galvanize everyone with brilliant ideas from outside the box, or is he too used to getting his own way all the time and will fail to compromise where needed to reach real solutions in a real world?

As an example, he said "I don't think we should be in Libya unless we get the oil". Dead-on real world truth. But can America and the world handle THAT?

I will add as a negative, the way he got "schooled" by Merv Griffin in the "Caribean casino deal".  IMO, evidence of ego over judgement.

I agree with most thoughts before me. Most politics is corrupt and he is truly a proud American and I believe he would do what is right to bring jobs back here and send a message to others to respect and fear us.

Dudes, personally I don't like the idea.  I live in New Jersey where he owns a few casinos (AC) and he ran one of them practically out of business until some angel investors came around and bailed him out.  And I second the above comment, he almost lost one of his towers in NYC as well.  If you can't make money with a casino, something's wrong.  Plus, we'd be a laughing stock if we had a president with the worst comb-over in the history of comb-overs. 

Now if Mayor Mike Bloomberg (NYC) ran, that'd be a different story.  I'm a registered Democrat, but I'd vote for Mayor Mike for President.  Of course, who knows which party he would run under...

That was after his first(?) divorce. She took him to the cleaners really bad. He bounced back which puts him way ahead of anyone in Washington as far as I'm concerned. We can not continue on the road we're going down now.

That might be good if you left the Ron Paul out. =) Don't get me wrong, I like how he's all for the constitution and individual rights, but he's way too radical on everything else. Even he says he'll never win an election.

I truly respect and admire someone who has been knocked down

You got a point. The biggest problem is the last few presidents (and VP's) have never had a real job. any job they did have was an aide to a congressman or something where they had a connection as soon as they got out of college. They have no clue on how to run a business and try to make a profit. Trump has the business knowledge but I consider him a loose cannon. The thought of him having access to the nuke codes reminds me of the Christopher Walken movie The Dead Zone.

I'll clarify a bit.  I am currently registered Democrat because I wanted to vote in the last primary.  I have been Independant all of my life and I haven't changed back out of laziness.  Personally, I don't believe in partisan politics or our two-party system.

With regards to Trump, maybe 10 years ago, yes.  Back when he was a storied billionaire that grew out of nothing.  But ever since his crap TV show came out, I don't think I could ever take him seriously enough to be my president.
