ok, here is the deal... back in last days of Jan I bought some stuff from a dealer... what I got ?

-2.5" exhaust manifold flanges
-exhaust manifold flange bolts set
-Exhust tip hangers set
-Throttle return spring

To be shipped to the International forward courier service warehouse I'm using in Fl

he gave me the tracking USPS 9101010521297435243708

Since it appeared DELIVERED IN JAN 29, I never got worried about, EVEN I never got the Warehouse receipt report from the courier. Is not the fist time it happens that sometimes even they get, maybe forgett to update me. Although I requested many times of this report allong with some others packages.

Now that I'm ready to make the international shippment IT LOOKS IS NOT AT WAREHOUSE!!!!

the courier crew told me THEY DON'T WORK ON SATURDAY ( Jan 29 was saturday ) so they couldn't get it. Also told me ask to the sender about somekind of claim to the USPS service and track the package untill find it or send it again due the USPS mistake

After ask to the sender about the package and post a complaint about he replied me:

It was delivered on the 29th.  USPS does not need anyone there to deliver the mail.  I am never home when my mail is delivered.  They put it in the mail box and packages are locked.  

The name below was on the box and an invoice is also in the box.

So, the place wasn't open the day USPS delivered the package. Being delivered on a Saturday and assuming they open back up on Monday, that's a long time for a box of goodies to be sitting out all alone. Sadly, my guess is that it was stolen and there's not much you can do.

It's been my experience(s) with the USPS that they accept NO responsibilities for any errors.  I've gotten to the point that I never use them any more unless I have no other options.  Hopefully your situation is different.

Probably not because there was no signature required for delivery they are allowed to basically just leave it there, and im sure once it leaves there hands they no longer feel responsible.

On a positive note, i finally got my damn rocker arms

seller told me package was insured... BUT still in that way, since USPS says on tracking and confirm section its delivered he thinks they won't response about.

I ship and get shipped a lot guitars and amps. I find the USPS tracking or what ever they want to call it a joke.
I have found most times UPS and fed ex less expensive and use a real tracking system. I am waiting for a usps package that was shipped on 3-9-11 one state away and they are saying 3-15 or 3-16 so a week to go from FT Wayne IN to Canton Oh???
UPS would have had it here 2 days at the most.

I hope the USPS takes care of things. In the future since you are out of country also, I would try to get all future shipments UPS or FED EX, I know I have started recommending the same.

I agree. I was shipping out a 100lb box last week to a forum member. The default insurance was $500. The shipping charges were $34 using my discount. I increased the value of the package to $1500 and my charges went up to $37, total. You can't beat that with a stick. Not to mention you can track it every step of the way!!!

seller sent me an email on those days from STAMPS.COM and website says OUT FOR DELIVERY but doesn't say DELIVERED though.

Like everything else in this shitty time, the USPS is taking a beating.

My wife buys just about everything ONLINE. SO we had the trucks pulling up out front all the time. Our regular USPS delivery guy, (STEVE) was great. He would always carry all the boxes up to us in the garage or front door know we are both handicapped. NEVER had any issue with him at all or USPS for that matter. Then the wife ordered up a huge box of clothing from Europe. ( She use to sell on ebay). The box was absolutely destroyed and stuff was falling out all over the place. Well, Steve handily carried it to me in the garage and said there were other things along with our stuff in torn boxes and who knew what went with what box.. We inventoried all and had more than our stuff in the box. (Could have been shipped to us as the seller was a great guy that loved to send extras as a bonus. It took a while but found that was exactly the case..

So Still loving USPS.  Then we started having issues on Steve's day off when they had a sub. doing his route. We lost about $600.00 (BUYING PRICE) of shoes. Put in a claim. Soon after that about $400.00 in purses. While asking Steve what the mode of PAPER CHASE was, he says: I am going to have a few extra minutes tomorrow and should have some answers for you. Sure as the sun comes up he says: here are the dates of SAID DELIVERY. Here are my dates off. NOTICE ANYTHING?? Then says: and this is my boss coming down the street. He will be sending you a special package in another week or so. It will be beat up and look like an overseas package. It will also have a homing device inside of it... We never saw the package and the woman who was robbing all our goodies in now doing FEDERAL TIME....

It sounds to me you're SOL.  It was delivered so USPS is gonna wash their hands of it.  Unless the package is beat all to hell, once they drop it off they don't give a shit what happens, especially 8 months ago. 

I've had it happen, not where we're living currently.  We have a couple brick pillars at the doorway & I've asked all delivery folks to put stuff behind one of them hiding it from the street.

I have bought from him since I become on ebay buyer although buying only small stuff, when he only had the ebay store! In some cases getting directly from his website now prices are even cheaper than his own ebay store, I guess due saving the ebay fees.

I decided to get from him on a second try for a while the claim and insurance was being in process but this time sent with signature confirmation. My courier service reported me this time they got the package ( monday or tuesday don't remember, after the saturday attempt ), HOWEVER look at the USPS 9121010521297514464271 package status
