Hello Ya'll.
I'm thinking of selling the extra 15x7 Ralley's I have to get a set of 15x8 steelies as an alternative set of wheels for the Daytona. Anyone have good or bad experiences with wheel vendors for steelies? I'll either paint/powdercoat them V2 or black with chrome lug nuts...
Here's what mine looked like with steelies and then, being that I don't have any pics of a V2 with black steelies, I'll grab Brian's F6 with black steelies ( I like the black for it gives it a NASCAR look ).

:o  Specialty is double the price from Summit.. I love the NASCAR look....... I think the black steelies with chrome lugs nuts would compliment the car's black wing and interior rather nicely...

Thanks for the black steelie pictures ya'll...   :2thumbs:

:o  Specialty is double the price from Summit..

Really? Summit only charges $60 each? That's a smokin' deal.

Specialty 15x8 steel:
Raw-$87
Black powder coat-$120

Summit in black: $85.95 (painted)
Specialty in black: $155.03 (powdercoated)

Ok, not exactly double, but darn close...... still a lot more.........

They are not $155. Specialty does not list the group buy/vendor price. You have to call and ask.

I don't know. I'm not the guy that handles shipping there. I don't work for them in any capacity. You have to call and ask. Chances are very good that Specialty will beat Summit, if you call Kelly, mention this website and ask if they can beat the Summit price. If they can't, they can't. I will bet you the difference that they can beat it, or come very close, and that their customer service will be decidedly better.

My first post in this thread is a link to this: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,62609.0.html which I assumed you had already looked at. From time to time I also assume (sometimes incorrectly) that all the regulars around here know about this discount since it's been a sticky in the "Group Buys, Discounts, Sales, and Special Pricing" section for the past 18 months. My apologies if you didn't know.

The link says, in a nutshell, that in Oct. of 2009 I set up a group buy discount with Specialty Wheels for DC.com members. To get the discount you have to call Kelly South, Director of Sales and marketing at Specialty, and ask for the dodgecharger.com price on the wheels you are interested in.

From the link: "Specialty now has dodgecharger.com listed among its vendors so from this point on all anyone has to do to get the vendor pricing at Specialty Wheel is call Kelly South at 800-959-5800 toll free or 503-491-8848 and say they want to order their wheels through dodgecharger.com and they'll get the discount. Do not attempt to purchase these group buy discounted wheels with the online order form. IT WILL NOT WORK. Call or email Kelly and work with him personally. Again, the phone numbers are 503-491-8848 or 800-959-5800."

Ahhhhhh, unfortunately, I don't go into all the areas of the board......... I wouldn't get anything done here at work if I did...  :icon_smile_big:

Thanks for setting up the discount and I'll have to give them a call....
