Dont tell me about the 2005/2006 prices.....
I bought my 69 R/T project back then...... If I had waited back then to lets say last year and added the 5 grand of parts I have bought since then to my original amount I would of bought myself a mint condition driver.

But yeah "if only" its easy to say.
But it's true that some people still sty to make crazy money out of some things.

NOS is nice, turbo's are neat, but when it comes to Mopars, there's no need to cheat...

Gotta love a '69

If your in for the money it is all about the timming,  How do think the guy that had that mint R/T he was never gonna sell feels, now that he is forced to sell and he could of made 15k more had he let it go 5 years ago?

    :o    :faint:

check out what else he is selling

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969-Dodge-Charger-Grill-NOS-Rare-Part-289863864116-/220760602293?pt=Vintage_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item33665b76b5

And he screwed it up by painting it.
Why would ya do that to a NOS item?

he had to paint it because  the frame area was broken on both sides, repaired and covered up with paint.

Do you mean he painted it to match the other two sections(repaired) he has for sale?  Or the center section has been repaired as well?

Price aside, he maybe went in the wrong direction painting a perfect NOS center. ( Of course "perfect" is the operative word here) :shruggy:

the headlight bucket had been broken and repaired. he had to paint it to make it look better. i have no clue why he painted the other parts unless he just wanted them all to match. :shruggy:
