I remember seeing a how to post on this a while ago. Anyone know where it is? Tried the search, eyes are going buggy. Maybe a new section with just " How to " stuff ?? I have seen some of the how to step by step posts from some of our members that are unbelieveable. Their contributions and time help make this site (no disrespect to the owner). Thanks for the help.

I've seen some posts saying glue is needed. What is the best glue to use and where do need it? Didn't remove the old headliner. Thanks...

Yup, I tried to do mine last year.  Fought, cursed, and even bled a little only to have it tear at the seam from either the stitching or something like that come undone.  Second time around, I paid someone to do it while I was home with my newborn.  Money well spent!

Put all the screws and bolts in first (seat belt bolts may stick out too far but a big bolt hole like that is relatively easy to find under the headliner if left out) and stretch the headliner in over them, then you can easily find the heads and make a slit around it to back out the screw/bolt.

whats up fellas. im new to the forum but love it already. im going to do my headliner today. the headliner was already out of my car but i think i have all the parts i need. the only thing im puzzled with is the bows. i have 6 long ones and the guy i bought the car from labeled them one thru 6 but i noticed that on the new liner towards the back it looks like there are slots for two short bows. am i missing them or is this for something else. oh by the way the car is a 69 charger.any help would be awesome

poppa

Yes,there are two smaller bows. The long ones need to be placed in their original positions,I believe they are different lengths. Good luck and welcome...
