who rebuilds hurst shifter mechanisms?

Well, I was just out for a drive test driving the charger after sitting all winter and it seemed like the factory hurst shifter was starting to bind up a little shifting between gears.  Mainly from reverse to the forward drive gears.  Who, if anyone, rebuilds these?  I would prefer to just buy another one and then have this one sent out so I have no down time with the charger.

Any help would be apprecaited.

Yeh, I saw that.  And also damn near  when I saw the price too.  $250 for rebuilding an OEM Hurst shifter.  I was hoping there was another alternative.

Jamie Passon at Passon Performance rebuilt one for me a few years ago.  You might want to give him a call.

just checked out Jamies site.  He has rebuilt ones by Hurst for cheaper than what Hurst sells them for.  Still pricey at $239. but cheaper.
