Rallye circuit board comparison

Hello all,
Has anyone bought either one of the reproduction printed circuit boards from Charger Specialties or Premium Dash Decals? They both look like quality peices, but I noticed the one from Charger Specialties has an intergrated solid state 5v limiter...

Any feedback?

I agree,, but I was curious about the transistor-style voltage limiter on the one. Did it give anyone problems? Worth the money? I need to get one and wanted to make sure my money spent was to its highest potential...

yeah thats the more updated regulator  , in theory should be better  , but its soldered to the circuit board by the looks of it , more agro if you need to change  
easy to change to the stock looking type with modern guts

if i was needing a printed circuit board , thats what i would be getting  as apposed to a used original

I would buy the bare board and install the RTE regulator.

I know this is an old thread but I just installed one of these boards and can't get any of the gauges to work. They are the new OER gauges. Lights work great. Is there a ground wire I need to run or something?

I've had good luck with the charger specialties part. Gauges are rock solid in my white 68 that has it installed.

I don't have my amp gauge hooked up, I just
Have those 2 wires put together and taped up.

It should have a good ground to the dash / body of the car.   Just ground any sender wire and the gauge should go full scale.
