Hey gang,

Based on my earlier fuel boil off thread what I'm hearing is I need to change the intake manifold gasket using a Felpro 1215(?) to block off the heat cross over. Is this correct? Do I need to change the valley pan as well? I will reuse the stock cast iron intake manifold.
Thanks.

depending on what intake you might need to use a gasket/s !    just valley pan with stock cast iron ,  some recommend a gasket with a aluminum intake /head  :shruggy: , i just use silicone sealer with the weiand  stealth 8009 intake  i have on there at the moment no probs

i also used one of these

The 1215 valley pan is what will block the heat cross over off. The gaskets alone wouldn't because they still have the hole provision for one, the tray has a sealed section instead of being open. So yes, you would need to use the tray as well.
