Moparts want ad section

Since that site clearly indicates that you are not to contact them with questions about why you can't post to their want ad section, can someone tell me what the secret procedure is?

Id like to know why they just randomly delete posts without mentioning it to the poster on why.

Yeah well, there's another item for discussion.  It has so much to offer but it can be a damned frustrating stop on the web huh?

Nothing secret...   just common sense rules as listed in the FAQ.    For sale ads need to have a price and contact info...  no BS 'make me an offer' garbage.

Moparts Classified Advertising Guidelines

Please note that we require every parts ad to have:

    Contact info (e-mail and/or phone)
    Your Location
    And a PRICE on all for sale ads
    Posted by replying in the proper place

There will be no "flooding" ads (the same ad posted in all categories) & there will be ONLY ONE AD PER ITEM PER MONTH , OR PER QUARTER FOR THE CATEGORIES THAT ARE UPDATED QUARTERLY! Do not re-list your item for sale/wanted trying to keep it near the front. All ads will be deleted if found to be multi-listing.

To place a pictures in your ad.

Use the attach file feature on the post preview screen. The attach file feature can be used for only the first picture. UBB code can be used for a 2nd picture loaded from your own server.
ALL pictures should be in .jpg format and no more than 500 pixels wide, Over size pictures will be deleted ! Please only include a max of 2 pictures per ad. Use links to the pictures for more than two.

Links to eBay "solicitations" or other auctions are not permitted and will be removed
ads posted to the wrong area will be deleted
NO flooding the parts pages with the same ad in every area.

Also when replying to an ad, USE e-mail, phone or Personal Messages Only. DO NOT reply in the parts forum.

When you sell your item, Go back and edit your ad. If you are NOT going to respond to e-mail questions about your ad then do not place the ad in the first place !!
All Ads are Free and self service. Post and delete your own ads.

Moparts has no control over sellers or buyers, these are free self service unpaid ads, so be cautious and careful with your on-line transactions. Get to know who you are dealing with before you send any money.
Ads placed on the wrong page will be deleted. !
No ads are to be e-mailed to moparts.

When placing an Ad, what you are really doing is replying to the first post in each category.

Example: You want to place an ad in "C Body For Sale" , open that page or forum, click reply on the first ad on the page. That will then open the box where you can place your ad in that category.

Yeah, I've read and followed the faq.  No luck.  For whatever reason Brian it won't allow me to post an ad in the parts wanted section over there.

Just reply to the first post(?). Is it not allowing you to start a new thread or to respond to the existing thread? Are you in the correct month? If you're not posting in April they'll be locked.

You can't start a new thread in the Classifieds there. Each has a single thread so you have to reply to the one that fits what you're trying to do. For example, if you want to buy a 69 Charger you have to post a reply to the "B Body Cars Wanted - April " thread in the "Mopar B Body" section of the site. At the end of the month the threads get locked and new ones are created. The previous month sticks around for a week or two.

Some of the Mods are total pricks. Such a wide variance on what is allowed.
