This morning (Sunday 3/27/11) Dodge filmed a new Charger commerical on a drawbridge a few blocks away from our place in Alameda, CA.  

Unfortunately, the car is driving - not jumping - across the drawbridge.

Cool Cragar-like mags but the car still has too many doors...

Still doesn't work for me.

Makes for a fine lookin cop car and the best looking taxi...

While I am nto really sold on this car yet, I will give Dodge an "A" for effort with the commercials.  Some of the ones they have done over the last year or so have made me laugh.  I liked the one with the challengers attacking the british soldiers on the battlefield.  (though wouldn't it have been cool to have a 2 door retro charger "charging" the British line?)

And the new one for the 2011 sedan is pretty funny..."We've all seen that movie, it ends with aliens harvesting our bodies for electricity!".   :icon_smile_big:

The new Italian Chrysler (Chryslorini?) advertising campaign is GRADE A.

The product is C+ at best...

Most certainly my opinion.

I did a LOT of research on domestic and foreign vehicles before buying a new car in '08. Ford makes a much better vehicle overall and has made great advances on Japanese manufacturers over the last few years. Chrysler is the KIA of Italy now...
