I'm certainly no resto-gimp but if you're gonna do a rare car like that GET IT RIGHT.

Whoever offers on that car needs to tell the seller to deduct the amount to redo it correctly.

That in itself will be no easy task.  Making that trunk area correct is gonna be a royal pain in the ass.


I wonder if the Bowtie camp gets all bent outta shape when one of their rides has a body color engine compartment?

Anyone else notice the A pillar trim was white and not black?  My car has the same looking interior and the A pillar plastic trim is black.

What about the gold cad fender bolts?  Pedal trim on a non-SE car, trunk spatter paint..... all points to a GM guy who restored the car.

Overall nice looking resto.  I wouldn't kick it out of my garage.  (But I would have to get those GM typical things corrected ASAP)

The car definitely looks like it fell into the hands of a bowtie-friendly restorer. I'm sure Hank bought it this way. Great looking car. I agree with Mike, getting the inside trunk area would be a royal pain in the butt.... I'd just keep it closed on the time. The jack retaining spring as noted isn't correct and the white a-pillars? I would have thought Hank would have changed them out along with the white kick panels..

Yeap, the pedal dress up wasn't a "SE"-only option. It was however, from my understanding, a component of the A47 SE package.
