Vinyl top trim w/o vinyl top - original?

Over here in Germany we are discussing if it was possible to get the vinyl trim without the vinyl top on a second gen Charger. My guess is that a two tone Charger (which I've never seen) would have the trim. Someone said he knows an original paint car that has it. Factory error?

Any input from you guys would be appreciated!

no two tones cars on Chargers, they were with or without vinyl tops then the dual tone due the vinyl ( if diff from body ).

No trim if not vinyl

 we covered this years ago, don't know how to find that post though,.. there were a couple as I recall... i think they were done at the dealer.  :shruggy:
