I always liked the old Coke machine, but they cost more than I wanted to spend. Found this old fridge that works for $80.00 on Wednesday. A couple days later its good as new.  :paintingpink:  :buff:   Anyone else do anything like this?

Clever idea! I like the old gas pump too!  :2thumbs:

Always liked the old Gas pump too. Seems to be a lot of them out here in the dry Southwest.

Thats really nice. Do you keep it plugged in? You would be surprised how much that old fridge will cost to run every month. Probably around around $20 or so. Not a big deal, very worth the cool factor.

Thats cool! I wish I could find an old unit like that. I had a chance to get a Kelvinator for free about 5 years ago but I was just months recovered from a bad disc in my back and didnt feel like I should be lifting that much just yet. It went to the scrap yard. I kick myself now for not getting it as the parts on it I could have sold for a nice amount of $$$ if it wouldnt have worked after adding a new cord.

Just finished it last night. It will be plugged in all the time. When it hits about 120* in there it might run a lot.

How did you do the lettering on it?

Used a projector with a picture of an old Coke machine in it. Then just projected it on the fridge and traced it with a grease pen and a friend of mine hand painted it.
