Maybe just take it to the bolt bin at the local hardware store and try some sizes, then get the same size and thread pitch set screw.
You could always drill and tap it a size larger if the threads are stripped.

ima try taking it in and see if i can find one. Thanks all.

Call RT Specialties or Mega Parts, they have just about every screw, nut, bolt and clip you can think of.  Also, as an alternative, Mike at B/E & A might be able to help b/c they repop them, he might have just the screw.

If you have a good one, yeah.  Personally I live .5 miles from the biggest home depot on the east coast and they never have what I need.  Out of charcoal in July, out of socket adapters, out of fertilizer in the spring.  Nuts.  They have enough space to be the distribution warehouse for all of New Jersey yet they can't seem to stock basic stuff.  I get so frustrated, I either drive 20 minutes to get to Lowes, or I mail-order what I need.

Oh, and yes, as expected they put the two nearby local hardware stores out of business (not that they were ever opened after 5pm for those of us that work anyway).

Home Depot probably has the worst hardware selection on the planet. Lowe's is better, but still not great. I've found Ace to be pretty good.

Lowe's should carry allen head set screws in different sizes. It's a simple set screw that any hardware store with a good hardware selection would carry. No need for special mail order.
