During winter Big Bear is a magnet for rowdy college kids and desert bros who want to go snowboarding all day and get drunk at night. Gotta figure that really is standard procedure, otherwise the local jail would be overcrowded.

Defiantly not the sharpest tool.....     But take him off the show and it's not half as fun.   Kinda' the Fonzie effect going on there....    Bet the family didn't see that coming...

Used to hit Key West for New Years Eve when I was in college and they had the same policy down there. With the exception that they Charged you $50 and gave you a citation of some sort (can't recall what exactly) for use of their hospitality suite.

I met Chumley at MATS last year and talked with him for a bit.
I can tell you he is no dummy.

He definately makes for a good clown on the show.
