Looking for an ASE mechanic

So I've been fighting with the state of Kentucky for a while to get a title and I gave up a few months ago. I decided to go with one of those out of state companies that will get you a registration for your car that way you can title it. I had to collect several forms and get them signed but the last form I have left is an ASE inspection form. It's a little hard to take a car without any tags or a title to a place to have it inspected unless I tow it somewhere and I really don't have time for that. So if there is an ASE certified mechanic that would be willing to sign the form for me please let me know. All the form basically asks if all the lights work, horn, and all that other stuff. Everything works on the car except the gas gauge and that's because the sending unit is disconnected.

The company told me it can be any ASE mechanic, brakes/Air conditioning, tranny....anything.

I mean no dis-repect but to ask someone to sign something without actually seeing said car, there for risking there reputation is a a very bad idea.

I am ASE certified master and there's  no way on gods green earth I'd sign it.

Look at it this way.
Joe Schmoe shop owner signs said form, guarenteing everything works as designed.
Car owner takes said car for a joyride. As is good.

Car owner gets pulled over, with no brake lights , or worst gets  in an accident. A good lawer does some investigating finds out Joe Schmoe just guarenteed everything is good, and it's actually wasn't , you can just imagine WHO is going to take a serious fall for said accident regardless of WHO's fault it was

+1.

In Florida a police officer does the inspection, if you can't bring it in. Any chance for that there?

I've already had the sheriff inspect it. That was another form I had to get signed. It's fine if no one wants to sign it, I know it probably scares some people. I figured I'd give it a shot on here before I have to take some time off from work and tow it somewhere.

Flip an ASE tech a dead president and drive him to the car.   I've done that in Ohio for some of the trash I've dragged home from out of state.
