Car (69 Charger) was console-less. I want to weld in the brackets but have no clue what/where the front bracket bolts to or what kind of screws are used. Any help/pics would be appreciated. Thanks...

Here's the only pic I have of mine. I took these parts from an original 4-speed R/T and put them in this body. The front bracket is welded not bolted, I had to cut it out of the old car carefully. I can take a measurement over the weekend for you and a couple more photos, although I've installed sound deadener so it may not be so clear.

Thank you that would help. I need to know where the front bracket bolts to on the console also.

Oh right.

I'll have a look at my console and photo it-iirc the screws are #3 phillips, nothing special. I'll try to confirm that, if the screws are tagged with the console.

while we are on the topic - can someone with a 4-speed console top take some measurements for me > ?   I need a measurement from the front lip of the plate to the front of the hole and the rear of the hole if possible

I haven't got near my console yet, but I haven't forgotten. Tomorrow maybe.

Which hole? Shifter?

:yesnod:

I could measure mine but I wouldn't mind seeing what someone else comes up with for measurments . Mine,I would consider, not acurate. Some one hacked up my hole when they added the 4 speed. Then someone else added the correct hump but I don't know how close it is.

Still have no idea where the front bracket goes.Seems like there's no place to bolt it to. Any info??
