it's EK2 exterior and even better is has Burnt orange interior. Original 440 six pack , 4 speed 4.10 Dana car.
But it's now a 493 stroker, Indy Cylinder headed 700 hp monster . To give you an idea, the fuel system is a #8 steel braided line front to rear to feed this thing.

Right now I don't have a single one of the interior. It's still on the lift and I prefer to not be climbing in and out of the car while it's between 2 steel posts. (it's this fear of denting or scratching thing I have )

I will have all the drivetrain finished up either today or tomorrow afternoon. and should be able to roll it forward to get some before pictures.
The interior is/was already done when I picked it up, I just need to assemble the dash cluster,connect the wiring, put the already done steering column in and thne it just a a matter of putting all the soft trim in. My only major job interior wise is rebuild the 1/4 window regulators and guides to hopefully get rid of an annoying rattle.

On a side note I am moving the shop at now at the end of the month. so the last week of March everything gets packed up and moved an 1/8th mile. The shop I lease right now is very nice and I'm paying a lot of money for road frontage / exposure I prefer to not have.

With the fuel pump out to be rebuilt. All the suspension is back in a semi -adjusted .
So , I moved to the interior today and started putting it back together.

Got the dash bezel applique and lower dash surrounds in.Lower steering column shaft needs a hole drilled in it to attach what I think is a flaming river coupler. Then it will go in.
I'm not sure how or why but it appears the hole where the cross shaft is supposed to be has ben welded up and ground down

So firing this puppy up is soon,,,,,,very soon.

Wheel was done by Garys Steering wheels and it's got his logo on it . I might add it's not very often you se a burn orange rimblow either. and it looks reeeeeal good

I'd buy one. Its a hell of an idea to keep the dirt and grime off of your hands after you just cleaned the wheel for a show!

there was an original unrestored limelite hemi superbird coded for one of them wheels for sale some time ago , think it was a 4 speed with no console , really low milage or something too

Well after a mild winter sleep , It's alive and well.

I never realized how good over 700 horsepower sounds thru 3" TTI exhaust. but WOW it sounds good.

I gotta get the brakes and the clutch bled this week and then pull it outside to let it run a bit to shoot the owner a video. I talked to him a couple days ago and he is stoked in a big way.

Rebuilt both rear 1/4 window regulator assy's , Got the full floormans covered in Dynomat. Rear seat and trim panel are in, carpet is trimmed.
I have to find out where the carpet came form. It laid down really nice and had lots of extra material . So I have my doubts it's the ACC stuff.

Well, it's about done. A few minor details to finish up. Here are some Interior shots outside in the daylight. But this is what the final product looks like. Grille goes in today. And I have to replace a leaking brake valve today, then hopefully they'll be done.
Upper dash trim is at the restorers and will be re-installed by the cars owner.
If the weather holds out today, I'll pull it back outside and take some exterior pics

They might have changed their tune Bill. I just put an ACC carpet that I got from Year One in my Charger and it also laid down really nice and had tons of extra material to trim. I'm pleased with it. I've got some pictures in my resto thread here:

Well, the parties over., at least for me it is,,,, and I've done about as much damage as I possibily can.
We had a couple of small quirks I had to deal at the last minute. Once the owner gets it back, I'm sure he'll make a few adjustments / tweaks here and there. But overall I think it turned out real nice . And I hope he's happy with it.

It gets loaded in the trailer tonight and heads back home tomorrow morning.
Then it's back on the charger the 1st of the week.
