Old Light green poly paint code

I wonder if anyone knows the new code system so i can get the light green poly for my dodge charger 69 rt/se

any paint suppliers would  have the formula , i know ICI/nexia /PPG will have them !!   & would prolly re formulate in waterbase

My paint shop says he cant make this paint becouse of its old code, is this just europe mabey?

nope europe should still be the same ,  find  ici/nexia ppg  paint supplier  or look for their web site  !! where abouts are you ?

go to any big crash repair body shop , that uses  ICI/nexia PPG   or sikkens , prolly  the other big ones also , but know for a fact that the ones i mentioned do !!
they will have it in there colour chip book  & formula on  micro fiche or computer  and  direct link to the paint tecnical help line  , should you have a problem

Is that the green light poly used on the charger 69?
No one used it with dupoint? is it ppg that use this?

Yes, it was used on Chargers in 69. It was a popular color and many of the black, red and orange ones out there now were originally this.

I don't know if this will work for you but I have a 68 f3 car and when I wanted to paint the engine compartment I got this.
   
   Dupont Centari, 4881a. Color, frost green metallic.
   Metallic/iridescent content> 5 grams/liter
   For California VOC compliance, basecoat must be activated and followed with apropriate low VOC clearcoat.

Not sure how old this sheet is,but it has a different paint code than the one posted above.

I don't think your gonna have any better luck with the code I posted above.
I dug old the paint label I used from 11 years ago and it was using the 2023 code which you said was the old system.
Do you have any of the old paint left on the car somewhere? If so can your body shop use a color reader to scan it?

PPG said today that they have a new color for this one
a Ford paint with name Lime gold 2054
Their system called it "good match" , do you guys think its good like original?

With the variables of the monitors,judging by that is not the best.
My opinion is the dodge has a more silver/green vs the ford with that leans more toward the lime(obviously) shade.
Although that 69 mustang in the link does look pretty close.
