That's the first time I've heard them called that

Drache

A night of drinking led to a bunch of guys talking about the 318 being like a cute little lion cub compared to the full grown lion of a 440

Here's the car a friend is going down to retrieve... lucky bugger, although by saying he overpaid for the car ($8000 CDN) and that the engine under the hood is "cute" Im feeling a little better  :D

Not to take anything away from Mopars or anyone who thinks the 318 is cute, but have a look at the Ford Capri 3000GT V6... Now thats "cute"

$8K for that Dart is nothing..He got a deal, Provided the bodywork isn't full of Bondo...What's up with the 4-speed pedals? Dude needs to dump a 4 gear in it and THEN he won't feel like he overpaid....That is one nice car for that money..Anything that looks great and RUNS, and you can drive away is high these days..Just because the economy is in the toilet, doesn't mean folks are just gonna give their sh*t away....

What's up with the 4-speed pedals?

The owner was going to switch it over from automatic to 4 speed at one point.

As stated, owner still needs to...

It's mostly original. New Cloyes double roller timing chain and gears, Edelbrock Performer intake, Holley 570cfm 4bbl, Hooker Competition headers....otherwise not much. We basically pulled the motor, went over everything to make sure it was in good shape, cleaned out all the water jackets, put new frost plugs in...etc :2thumbs:
