I have been thinking of selling my 1970 Charger. She is a true R/T SE 4 speed w/ Dana rear. Needs some work. I have some pic's I can send someone (old timers) out there to help in setting a decent price for her along with more information on her. Still in the should I or should't I phase, but depends on what the value might be.

UPDATED 03-16-2011
IF SOMEONE CAN LINK THIS TO THE FOR SALE SECTION OR CUT AND PASTE THE PIC'S I WOULD REALLY APRECIATE IT. TRIED A FEW TIMES ALREADY AND WON'T LET ME POST PIC'S

RD

if you dont post them here to get an evaluation, and are willing only to send them to people who are interested, than this is NOT a WIW thread but you hanging out a line hoping for a bite.  hence.. this is a car for sale ad and is posted in the wrong spot.  just my two pennies.

there was an F8 V code on ebay. Running and driving needing a resto was at $20k a few days ago. Had some rot.

All depends on how much work ?
trunk floor and extensions, 1/4's, dutchmen ?

Not hoping for a bite, since it seems this is more of a chat and information site than anything else. I am looking to those who have been die hard mopar guy's for a long time to help in my decision to sell or keep and invest my time and money into.

Just my .02 here, but I can't figure out why someone would sell an E-body, an R/T- - SE, 4-SPEED, DANA, in the first place...Obviously, it's worth the investment to many here just to own a plain Jane 318 car...

Looking at the car market and economy in general, I'd say hold on to it until better days, if you can.

Been thinking of the economy also, scarry as hell. Truth be told I have always had lower valued cars to start with and enjoyed fixing them up, because I had the funds to do it. Things have changed now and In the last year and a half I have not had the money to do what I want with the car. Sometimes I have enjoyed the hunt for the next project along the thrill of having a new toy. I think if I sell off this car I can buy and fix up another with the money I may get, on the other hand I don't want something to get away I might never be able to replace. I have always enjoyed the forum and responses I have recieved. I guess I'm just looking for some direction in what to do.

It all depends on the condition, how much you have in it now, and what the fair value is.   If you can give as much details with pictures, we can give you a good guesstimate on how much you may be able to get.  If you need help posting pictures, you can email them to me at moparmann@ameritech.net and I can post them.  :2thumbs:

Nobody here can tell you what to do. I've been holding on to a 68 383 Charger for 32 years. It needs lots of work too, but I also have lots of parts saved up for it. I may end up selling it myself one of these days, but that will be my decision. If you want to sell your car, then sell it. It's all up to you.

Original paint? Build sheet? Numbers matching?   :popcrn:

Has an 8 track. Didn't know that the door panels on a 70 SE were different. Learn something every day.  :yesnod:

No build sheet, car was originally ff4 green with white rt stripe, the texas plate belonged to my grandfather who passed 15 years ago. Not numbers matching either

Thanks, to everyone who sent me a pm and your replies. I think I should hang onto her for a while longer and wait to see what lies around the corner. A special thanks to 1970moparmann (Mike) for posting the pic's for me and your input.

A thread over @ the '70 Registry sure couldn't hurt.

You picked the right time to list.  Spring's just around the corner & if someone needs a loan it's easier to make payments on some thing you can drive.

sparkybr74mr

Figured I would try here first and sell to someone who could restore her to her original state, I'll try the  registry site too.
