Is this an AC part?

I'm working on my 68 Charger. I have a box of pieces that came with it. Anyone know where this piece goes? And what it's to? I think it's for an AC car but I'm not sure. Any pics would be helpful.

its even worth something even if its leaking , they normaly are  or about to , you can buy a rebuild kit  ,

 a couple of places that rebuild them  , say there is a $100 core charge  ,  
thought i saved their websites for reference  , but cant find them
