$500-$600 would be more  realistic, I think that is overpriced.

Uh... no. It's an am/FM radio. Much scarcer than the typical standard AM.

I seen those go for double that before the economy crashed. 1000 bucks is a fair price for it.

Old Moparz

I have one of those radios in my Satellite convertible. One time at a local cruise, a well known Mopar parts vendor who used to live near me, came over & said, "Hey Bob, would you be interested in selling that radio in your car? I'll give you $50 & an AM radio for it."  :smilielol:

It's still in my car by the way.  :D

Maybe if I had a trailer queen ...   but no sale.    I'd just as soon put an old fm converter under the dash before I paid that much for the big 2 watt output that has

I converted my AM to am/fm...  $400ish but it sounds a lot better than that old thing...  but nowhere near as good as any $100 pioneer / alpine / whatever the hot brand of the week is from whatever the hot store of the week is.

I do too but I don't think you'll find too many nice ones in the $500 range either.

68 R/T thinks they are worth $500. I'd give you that for a nice one. ;)

The highest priced AM / FM  like that under completed auctions on ebay went for less than 500. At first I figured it was Frank Mitchell  :P

Stupid Question  :slap:  From those pictures how can you tell it is an AM/FM radio?  :shruggy:

Brock Lee

By the AM and FM frequency lines and the AM/FM indicator just after the 94 marker on the FM dial.

I have one myself. Not worth much for what it is. I guess someone who has a AM/FM coded car missing the radio doing a resto would want it though.

Welcome to 1990. Get the mp3 connector wired in for $80 and buy a $50 mp3 player that picks up FM if you're going with the original look.
