I'm changing custom cluster to stock one and have a couple of questions.

What wires are these? Ammeter?  I'm not connecting ammeter btw! Should I leave it like this or...?

Whats this?

Thanks!

It's hard to tell but it looks like they bypassed the ammeter - with a fusible link. I probably would have just done that in the engine compartment. It's the (ammeter) connections at the bulkhead connector that usually get hot and melt. There's a tutorial somewhere around here about adding a second wire through the bulkhead to handle the load. The ammeter isn't as horrible as some people make it out to be. Usually the old wiring fails from the load.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

I think the connector you pictured is for the radio.

I'm installing voltmeter with mechanical oil and temp gauge, so the stock cluster is just for the looks mostly.I'll leave it like this then.
