Will miss seeing you Steve. Will you make Sacramento on 6-25?

Hey, I like the new avatar, will there be a Rt 66 trip blog forthcoming?

I'm not sure when we are going to get back or what condition I'm going to be in to go to Mopars in the Park.

I have a blog setup that I will post before I hit the road.

Joplin Missouri just got wiped out by a Tornado so I'm not sure what that part of Route 66 is going to be like when we roll through.

Be prepared to get disappointed. Ain't $30.

It's $90 if not a member of Good Guys and $55 if you are. And it's outdoors so they get wet just like us.

No shit. Here's the pre-reg for the August Good Guys. Save $10! Save another $15 if you get the digital issue only.

(apparently there is a Sunday only entry at the door but no price mentioned).

Spectators are $26 ($18 for ticket and $8 parking).

For good guys it is 18 dollars to enter and if you park in the parking lots it is 8 dollars....Ill drive past the fairground and park on the street somewhere and walk in. though im not going but thats what I normally do.

Mopar alley show is FREE to park and FREE to enter as a spectator...way to go!

Its a 2 hour drive for me. I planned to go to sell parts at the swap meet. Sitting in the rain isnt my idea of a good time. I feel crappy for the Mopar Alley club. Word gets out that rain is coming and things snowball from there. The 3 day shows out east see rain almost every year. People that make it to those shows expect it. Who drives to a 3 day show just to sit in their motel rooms? The California market isn't strong enough to support a 3 day show. I wish that it was. People look to CA as some sort of auto hobby mecca, but up in Northern CA, its just not as much of a hotbed as I'd like.
I hope that it is dry. I know how much trouble it is to plan and host a car show.

the weather looks like it might be ok after all, at least once I get out of san francisco and head south...im going to get up at 5 and see how it looks then head over there around 6:30-7.00 or so with the Scow. Optimistically I just shined and vacuumed it so see u there. They will probably stick me in the R/T section again.

the swap meet is usually pretty good. I sold a car there last year within a few hours of putting a sign on it. Taking some cash just in case I find something cool.

Way to go. I ended up being lower on funds than I wanted to be. So I decided to not go because I did not want to run into any good deals and have to pass. Hopefully I can make it out to the Capital City Mopars show.
