I really want to move forward with Viper brakes but I really only want to do the front brakes and have discs in the back that utilize a parking brake.

Anyone know other sources to buy these calipers?

ANd hopefully more information about this conversion?  I already know AR Engineering sells a little kit for mounting the brakes for $900+

ANy help would be appreciated.

Or how about the SRT8 Calipers for that matter?

ANyone ever convert disc brakes using moderm brakes from these mopar vehicles?  I'm a little concerned about SRT caliper conversion because, I still want to retain the same bolt pattern  5 x 114.3  (4.5) pattern.   And I know the modern mopars use 5 x 115

Yeah, thats too much. Do a google search on used viper parts. There are several sellers where you can get just the front calipers you want for a few hundred bucks. AR Engineering also has kits to convert to the larger rotors withe  5 on 4.5 bolt pattern if you have 17" wheels and want the bigger disc size.

Hi
You can
Search the classifieds in the Viper Forums, Look in the Suspension/ Brakes  Topics as well .and post in the wanted sections.
I just picked up a sweet deal on a set of low mile (9000) 99 Viper Calipers for $250 Bucks, from a Viper forum .
You can get the Stainless Braided Brakelines at Inline tube for less than $100, Caliper brakets at Mancini for $180 and hunt dow a set of A body Drum spindles (73-76) or use DR.Diffs Bearing Bushings and you can bolt on the caliper brackets to the B Body Drum spindle.
Rotors are Late model B Body 76-79 11 3/4 Cordoba units $40 and up, SSBC has a nice set of Drilled slotted and Plated rotors for about $120 each.

go with areengineering - they pretty much do the cheapest 13"  rotor viper conversion
