7 1/4 spider replacement

Hey, I know this isn't a charger question, but I figured you mopar gurus might know.

A few days ago I wrecked the spiders on the 7 1/4 (open) in my 79 Volare, now it makes some awful noises when going around corners. I found a replacement set at randy's r&p, and I was just wondering how much work it'll be to make the swap. Will I have to disassemble the whole diff assembly (I know it's a pain to break down a 7 1/4), or can they be changed out in place?
