Package tray clips

Hey gang,
Just bought myself a pair of Polk 6x9's. When I installed a new package hardborad cover, there were 3 small right angle clips screwed to the top of the package tray/back seat frame edge. I though these were there to hold down the edge of the package tray cover. Is this correct? I have to pull the rear seat out anyway to install these speakers and want to know if I should put these clips back the way I installed them. Thanks

 you have three  ,  only seen two before  ,   i put mine back even painted the top edge black  , but thinking your prolly able to remove the tray with out pulling the rear seat if they are not there ,  much quicker  !!

Thanks for your confirmation about these clips. Yeah, I have three.........go figure? I guess MaMopar put them there to keep the package tray from rattling around. Oh well, I've been hoping to contort myself getting the back seat out again.....happy happy joy joy but..........the new sounds system will be worth my acheing back .
