Does anyone have interior taillight and truck panel pictures? Preferably original or before and after restoration. My 68 has tailight supports that mount between the top of the tailight panel (between two stamped tabs) and the bumper support brackets that are welded to the trunk pan. These are spot welded to the panel and welded to the support brackets. They sit to the inside of the tailights toward the center of the car.

Also, I am looking for pictures of the spare tire bracket location. Does anyone have a bracket mounted on the right side? If so, does anyone know why? Does anyone have the location for the Jack locator and spring holder?

My car was cobbled up when purchased and I am know replacing the trunk pan and wpuld like to know the correct locations of all brackets. Thanks for you time and consideration.

Try pasting this in Internet Explorer to view.

Your links to pictures are the ones that exist only on your computer. You need to put them somewhere on the internet (like uploading them here) for anyone else to see them.

Sounds like you have an early 68? None of my pictures will show that bracket since my cars are all later. I may have some pictures from shows though. The jack brackets are on the driver's side. I probably do have pictures of them somewhere.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

That's the piece. Just wanted to make sure someone else has the same thing in their 68. Is this uncommon? Do you have a pic of the spare tire mount and supports? Same for the trunk jack?  Thanks in advance for your time.

Troy,

Not sure how to upload pics to this site. Tried to send as pics but the site says each pic is too large to send. Can you offer assistance.

Those brackets (and apparently inner trunk structure) was an early '68-thing. Not all '68's will have it. Don't know the cut-off production date.....

Dude open a free photobucket account then you can have that site host all your favorite pics and share them here at a decent size.
Gotta love a '69
