HLPAG - Truemusclecars.com -- '69 Charger sure LOOKS nice

I thought I had found my dream car -- a '69 black RT, no vinyl, and with a MANUAL.   :drool5:  Ran across truemusclecar.com website, got excited, but then found a reference that it is the revamped HLPAG.  I found plenty of references to HLPAG here on this site.  Dreams -- for now -- dashed.   :'(

terrible one

$50k and they can't even put the right upper radiator hose on there! It's kinked and everything  :slap:

Seriously though, it could be a nice, solid car. It seems like they have some that they just flip. The ones that they "restore" are the real trouble  :eek2:

bull

Looks pretty nice, actually. Which leads me to believe they had nothing to do with the restoration (except the radiator hose :D). They probably bought it as-is for $30k.

No Surprise! its a Halpag Car! that explains everything including the missing Fender Tag

Yeah,
I didn't get the Mr Norms association either, and there aren't many details listed.

Rebody.  :rotz:

The car Chris lists is correct.

The black one has A/C interior & A/C firewall.

472 R/T SE

The 4 speed bracket on the firewall looks to have been added on as well.

Chris' original shots show what it should look like from the factory.  The black car has what looks like fresh bolts.

Wow, looks like someone may end up with a real shiny bag of trouble :o

Looks like the guy taking the pictures was either going to do that or burn it (reflection in the rear glass)

seems to be a rebody.
radiator is from a c-body. Probably just quickly rushed together from the parts they had easily access to. Mastercylinder etc is also a cheap autozone part.

It is a shame, the original RT doesn't look to bad

How is it the fenders are so much rustier than the rest of the car in the before pics? It's almost as if someone stripped them and then gave up on it.

Slight accident or such so they were replaced/fixed and were still in Primer?
