This Car Was Restored From 1987-1990.....    13years and that's the best he could do??????

Full Body Off Restoration.....    They tore apart the unibody welds and screwed it back together.

Everything on this Car Was Replaced Inside and Out....    Not really, but some chump will believe them because thay say it.

This Car Was Done to Show Quality....    Except for all the numerous details that weren't.

Previous Owner Had Since 1980....      And no one can believe that he didn't fix it right in all that time!

Won Over 200 Shows From 1990-2002....     That's over 20 per year. Suuuuuure.

This Car Was at The 1991 Mopar Nationals in Newark, Ohio at The National Trails Raceway.....       As were 2,000 other cars, so what?

It Was Picked and Pictured in The Chrysler Car Enthusiast Magazine Issue in 1991 for its Appearance, Color of Paint, and How Well it Stood out From Some of The Other Cars at The Event....     Because of its flaws that are too numerous to count?

A Professional Body and Paint Restorer did the Car.... Using DuPont Centari.

The Car Looks as Good as it did when it was Restored Over 20 Years ago......    But that was then and this is now.

This Car runs and drives awesome no disappointments..... He lies, I'm disappointed even without seeng it in person.

Super Solid all Metal.... And filler.

Did anyone notice in their text description, Tic-Toc Tach (inoperable)?  Kind of conflicts with everything on this car was replaced, inside and out, no?  Top-notch resto work there.  Ironically, the tic toc tach looks like it's the only gauge that's new, the rest are all yellowed.  So basically they should have said "New Tic-Toc-Tach - but we don't know how to hook it up".

Looks like the right front tire is worn on the inside, need alignment + new tires.

There is a post about this car as it was on Columbus? Craigslist a few weeks ago. Don't feel like searching for it but I hope the dealer looses his ass.

It's a clone and clearly not a stock "restoration". Overall it looks like a decent car for being refreshed nearly two decades ago. The fact that the paint is that old and still looking that good is a pretty good testament to the body man's work and the owner care.

The salesman's comments are typical. They don't hire salesmen to critique the car or be knowledge. I do find it funny that the photos and video repeatedly show the door jambs with missing rubber. The new owner certainly won't be able to complain about it!

I see they are up to their old tricks. last summer, I found on ebay a  yellow 1968 Chrysler 300 conv. I have desired this car since it was new. It was described as perfect, the best one out there, slick video and all. I discovered the car was located just 2 miles from my house. I ran to the dealership, asked them to pull it out, so I could do a walk around. The car was an absolute POS. totally misrepresented, way overpriced. so many things wrong with it, flaws too numerous to count for the kind of money they were asking.  I drove it, it was so bad, I could'nt get back to the lot fast enough.Originally, they wanted $27K for the car they went down to $21K and for me (LOL) $19K. The car was solid, I offered them half of that, kind of screwing with them and figuring that all the stuff wrong could be corrected. Later, I emailed the owner and shared my disappointment at his misrepresentation of that car. I noticed that shortly the car was pulled from the lot and it disappeared from the internet listings. Most of the stuff on his lot is of the same quality.

Would be a fun car to cruise in, it's the same red & black my first Charger was. I like it except for the extra wide wheel lip on the quarter panels that extend beyond the width of the wheel lip mouldings.

You didn't do very well in math class, did you? 90 minus 87 is THREE, not 13.

Aside from the weather strip, I don't see where it's all that bad. 20 years is a LOOOOONG time to have a car and keep it this nice. Heck it was younger than 20 years old when it needed to be restored in the first place. You guys are more critical than the Corvette guys when it comes to trashing another man's car. So it's not dead nuts on perfect according to factory. MOST "restored" cars are done to the owner's preference. Not factory specs. They said it was an R/T CLONE, so we already know it's not right. Lighten up. If you don't like it, don't buy it.
Speed\'s expensive, how fast do you want to go?

greenpigs

It is not trashing his car so much as the seller trying to get RT money out of a 383 car, for me at least. I have been on Vette forums and we are not even close to their cruelty I read on it.
