I will finally have the right interior for the DMCL Charger, I'm very Excited. I ordered legendary from Dante' ... Great guy to talk to on the phone, I can see why he is highly recommended....

I did price from yearone... and with the 20% code here year one would have been less.... not a lot... but still.... I'm typing this because I just want to remind people how important it is to support your smaller Local shops whenever possible. As I said, It was fun talking to him, Email responces were fast, and the dude was cracking me up :)

Best Happy Divorce present for me ever :) I cant wait for her to finally have the black guts and ... be "done"  :2thumbs:

 :iagree:

Dante is great, as is Herb's and RT Specialties.  I try to buy from those guys as much as possible.  I am redoing my interior, replacing almost everything, and I was able to pull it off with only buying two parts from YearOne, the dash and rear light harness, because they are the only ones that carry it.

I still have to warm up a few spots. also a tip for anyone doing it, buy extra hog rings and double them up in the tight spots, it seems to hold much better and puts less strain on the pressure points. it's nice and tight, no rips or tears, and no stretching at the seams that way ;)

I'm very pleased with the way it turned out. I will be doing the front seats tonight, we'll see how well they come out ;)

Very nice.  :2thumbs:  I will be interested to see how the fronts turn out.

terrible one

Very nice  I'm impressed with the condition your seats were in. When I did my back seat the burlap and parts of the cotton for the back were nice and rotten.

That's looking pretty nice. I'm impressed with the turn around time. When I ordered a black 68 interior from legendary it took about 3 month's.
Still looking for 15x7 Appliance slotted mags.....

I took many more pics of the other seat....It seems at though these seats were once red, and put into the car at some other point and time.

removed the slider and to back of the seats.

did both separately

These seats seemed to once have headrests, and I could see them through the covers. removed the plastic pieces, cut some rags into the correct size and filled the holes, can
t see em now :)

Who did your upper pads, or where did you get them?  Did you use a repro medallion or did you re-use your old ones?

Those are my original cracked white uppers with the original medallion. My friends own a body shop and have a guy they use to dash repairs and such. He is a pro. He does a lot of these types of pads for corvettes, he looked at mine and said he can fix and repair them. They came out fantastic in my opinion. repaired all the small cracks and missing parts. I'll get better pictures of them... but for the price i paid... I am beyond ecstatic with how they turned out :)

So I have a question, I'm also starting to replace my seat foam and vinyl, Khyron when you tore your seats apart and put them together, did you leave the original burlap with the spring strips intact or did you replace them with new ones

Khyron

i left them intacted. They were in real good shape and wasnt going to rock the boat :-)
