Three days later...

2010 Challenger R/T. Deep water blue. Most basic model (except for the wheels), but what else does one need? We got a great deal on it.

Ponch you're married ?

2 years in June. :yesnod:

:rotz:

So....does she work the stick?  :icon_smile_big:

I like the color & it should get OK highway MPG, 25 or so according to the window stickers I have seen but it sucks in the city. However it can do this whenever she gets the itch.... :drive:

Everyone should be married at least once.

Hell yeah ill drive it. That was the deal. But its essentially going to be her daily driver and my occasional weekend toy.

Its 5.7 hemi, automatic. I was trying to talk her into getting a 6 speed, but no dice given its daily driver role.

they control us. they make us think we are in charge.they trick us into thinking we are guiding them into buying a more expensive car and we are proud of them. so they get to drive a modern day muscle car instead of a mini van and we celebrate. and they let us think we won. damn they are good.

Yeah great car. Love to have one some day.
They're selling them here in excess of 100K converted to RHD.
Can't license newer LHD cars here to stop us importing cars like the Chally cheaper than we can buy local crap.
Gotta love a '69

I needed a new car and it was between a camaro and a challenger. The wife wanted the camaro.  So I agreed to go the Chevy dealer with my brother.  Wasn't completely impressed and told the salesman I wanted a challenger.  He said wait one minute.  Next thing I know he's driving up in a 2010 deep water blue rallye challenger full loaded. I initially laughed and said I couldn't afford it but when I found out it was used and had less then 2k on it. We talked price.  Christmas Eve I bought it home and my wife went nuts for it.  Nothing hotter then a girl driving a Mopar.  Didn't op for an R/T because it's a daily driver and I have my 69 charger still.  I don't have to worry about her driving it when she wants to this summer because ill have the charger fired up and out cruise.     Good luck with yours, mine been awesome not one complaint except for the stock brakes.

I've had my Challenger for almost a year now! I have no complaints with it but one: It attracts too much attention!!

Congrats, nice ride!!!!! :2thumbs: Like the color, was my second choice. Here is/was mine, came and went farely quick, had it for 7 months and 1,700 miles.Real nice cars, but for me,I could'nt drive it to work, and found myself not using it much,so before I made the same mistake again(new vehicle depreciating sitting in the garage and not using),off it went.

she rear ended a chebby truck yesterday. everyone is ok but the car will need some major fixin'. Its already at the same shop that fixed my charger when i crashed it so i know theyll do a good job. Gonna be $$$ but thats what insurance is for. Im just hoping the unibody didnt get bent, or else it will be totaled. The guy at the shop said  (by eyeballing it) that since she hit a truck and the airbags didnt go off, it was a high hit and doesnt think its that bad - but obviously hell have to take it apart so he can tell for sure.

Aaarrghh sorry to see that but glad everyone's alright.  It's not totalled, once they remove the beat up metal and plastic it'll be just fine, easy fix.

Maybe I'll even get some mods out of it (because insurance will pay for aftermarket parts if theyre cheaper than factory stock - case in point, they replaced the carbon fiber SRT-8 style hood on my charger for that very reason)
