bought new tank for 71 charger.should i powder coat or paint.has any one powder coated a tank.will the solder melt out.

i had mine powder coated turned out with no problems. either way is fine i took mine to get powder coated because it was laying there when i took other parts to get coated and said mise well get this done to

We all have different opinions, my opinion is keep it the way it is.  :2thumbs:
When your Charger is sideways, just give it more gas!

I just dont like the look of the original unpainted tank so spray paintinging is an option but powder coat will be more durable.....
