Out of the "World's best Superbird - Mopar Action June 2011" article I learned that the rubber seal P/N 3412 686 from the valance panel to frame ("K" Member seal) is missing on my car.
Here my questions:
(1) Is there a vendor selling this part?
(2) If no, is there a 1:1 paper template available? Could somebody produce one?
(3) What kind of rubber was used? thickness?
(4) Does it really help to direct the cooling air better to the radiator?
Thank you for your help!
Karl

I still have my original.  It is made of that same tar paper like material that was used on a wide variety of mopars.  The reproductions are too thick and too heavy and lack the rigidity of the originals - unless someone has come out with a better one since I bought mine 5 years ago.  David Patik would be the one to ask.  It is held in with speedometer cable clips so one good high speed run will probably have it hanging out under the car lol.

this (this forum) is absolutely the coolest site on the planet!!!!!     I am trying to restore my bird, and there simply is no guidelines that I can find - except for the tips on this site!

Everything from which way the hood pins pull to this goofy but rubber kit.

It's my dream to have a "showroom" perfect Superbird - since I've owned it for 30 years and only now getting around to a proper restoration.

I know when I get it that level of restoration that I will be afraid to drive it - but I just want to be able to drive it once, in that kind of condition.
