Did this Superbird really exist

Looking at toys and seeing this Superbird called Blackbird.Mentions it was a actual car .The urban legend I read before on here it was a black 69 Charger 500 out fitted with police lights etc

i mentioned before sometime ago , i read in a mid to late 80s winged warrior news letter that a black daytona  was used as high way patrol car !! & was wrecked ! never did come across the news letter again  any one got old copys look from 85 to early 89  it was in one of them
