Nice Chargers.............  Where is this show held? I'm a native Floridian and was heavy into the Dade/Boward/Palm Bch County Mopar scene in the early to mid-80's before joining the Air Force in '87.

black chrome with that green, no bumperettes... I bet it looks even more killer in person.

Patronus

Painted bumpers, yet left the stainless.... wtf? That car needs all the trim black.  :Twocents:

They murdered the look of that green car when they put that mile-wide stripe on it.  Blech.

By the way, what were they asking for that '70 R/T for sale?

jaak

Was the 70 R/T for sale FJ5 or FJ6.......hard to tell in pics both colors are hard to tell in pics.

I like the Green and Black look.  Black bumpers was a nice touch.  It looks sharp and those wheels and tires really finish it off.   :yesnod:

Hey Chris!  I can probably get some 69 VIN's for you next time I go see Troy at the R/T garage in Prior Lake, MN.  He and his wife were both featured Mopar Collectors Guide in the past 6-7 months.  They buy and sell a lot of cars.  Ever hear anymore on the '68 Registry that was in the works?

BTW, thanks for the sticky!

Troy

Hi Troy, the location was in Davie Florida at Tree Tops Park for it's first 18 Years. The Green Ecological Weenies  :flame:  decided that we shouldn't park on the grass   :shruggy:  and the show moved to University Dodge down the street for the past 5 years.   :2thumbs:

Got a pic of the data tag on the sunroof car, I'll post it when I find it.........guy says the HEMI was in a museum in Canada all its life and only has 2700 miles   ::) it obviously has been rotisseried and many new repop parts. Not sure why there is a story like this with a nice HEMI Charger. I have a pic of the fender tag but it isn't very legible.

The green '68 needs some serious help.  :Twocents:

Nice pics.  :2thumbs:

greenpigs

I like the green 68 but don't care much for the black bumpers & the stripe would look a little better if it was a 68 style. Just doesn't center up right & looks out of place but small fish compared to the overall look of the car, VERY nice!
1969 Charger RT

Living Chevy free

terrible one

The green '68 could be a great car, but it just bugs the shit out of me. Of course there is the stripe like everyone mentioned. It might be fine if not for the '68 marker light making it look unsymmetrical and out of place.

My biggest thing is the front bumper! Sure, the black chrome looks great, but they used chrome bumper bolts! WTF?! Even on the back bumper the bolts are black and blend in. The front bumper looks like it has acne.

as regards that snakeskin green '68, with the amount of body work obviously done they could've moved the rear marker to the middle of the stripe for a sweet tweak... and besides the acne, it look severely under-tired.. thanks for the pics...  :2thumbs:

I thought about moving the marker too.  Or putting in a '69 or '70 marker to go with the single stripe as the '68 had dual.  The tires could definitely be taller in my eyes too, but I like how wide they are.  :yesnod:
